Throughout the month of December, 2018, USI’s New York City office held a coat collection for New York Cares. The team collected enough coats to keep 21 adults and children warm through the upcoming winter months! The coats will be distributed to homeless shelters, community centers and public schools throughout New York City.
USI Vice President/Managing Consultant Julian Keogh serves on the Rising Leaders Council for New York Cares and recently participated in the Nasdaq opening bell ceremony with the organization on December 24th. He took part with several other board members, and even had his photo displayed on the jumbotron in Times Square!
New York Cares is NYC’s largest volunteer management organization with over 64,000 volunteers and impacting over 400,000 New Yorkers in need each year. This is the 30th anniversary of the coat drive, and New York Cares will collect and deliver its 2 millionth coat this year.
