Mary Jo Jacobs, vice president, employee benefits for the New York City office received the “Top Employee Benefits Award by a New Producer” during the Company’s annual PEAK Awards. The PEAK event, which took place at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, recognized and celebrated USI’s top performing sales producers across the country, who bring their best-in-class solutions and services to make a positive impact on their clients and local communities.
Earlier this year, Jacobs was honored by the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle (BGCNR) with the “BE GREAT CITIZEN” award. Jacobs, who is currently a vice president of the board of the BGCNR and long-time New Rochelle resident, has dedicated herself to bettering the lives of children in New Rochelle and beyond. Her contributions include serving as president of the Webster PTA, the PTA Council, the New Rochelle Special Education Parent-Teachers Association (SEPTA), and co-chair of the SEPTA “We Are One” gala.
James Butler, regional CEO for the Northeast region, said: “We are thrilled to hear that Mary Jo has received this well-deserved award. Her passion for achieving excellence for her clients is only surpassed by her charitable endeavors that have enriched the lives of so many in the local community over the years. I couldn’t think of a better person to be commended and I am proud to have Mary Jo as a member of the USI family.”
USI PEAK is an incentive program designed to reward and recognize USI’s premier sales professionals for achieving sales excellence. It is an annual event to honor and celebrate the passion, drive and work ethic of individuals who build great teams at USI. Sales associates who achieve PEAK recognition travel to amazing destinations for a once-in-a-lifetime PEAK experience. Past PEAK experiences have included: playing a ball game on the field at Yankee Stadium, driving stock car races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, sailing a regatta in St Maarten with America’s Cup yachts and bobsled racing at Park City’s Olympic Park. PEAK qualifiers also earn annual equity ownership in USI. The USI PEAK Awards are open to both new and established professionals who leverage the USI ONE Advantage® for their success. This year’s PEAK Awards included a flag football tournament at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium.
