Form EEO-1 Reminder

Private industry employers with 100+ employees and federal contractors with 50+ employees are required to perform the following functions:

1) to report the number of employees;

2) the race, ethnic and sexual identity of the employees; and

3) identify the job category of the employees.

The Form EEO-1 is due annually to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) by September 30th.  Employers required to prepare and file the Form EEO-1 should receive a notification by the first week of August.  If an employer has not yet received a notice, the employer should contact: e1.techassistance@eeoc.gov
